| PIMA Server |
|
PIMA (Phone, Internet, Mobile, Analog) Server The PIMA server makes many kinds of devices connected together and makes them be able to communicate each other. In virtue of the PIMA server, digital convergence is realized. The PIMA server consists of many servers such as         1. a management server,         2. an IP server,         3. an alarm server,         4. a mobile server,         5. a relay server, and         6. a contents server. Hardware & Software of PIMA Server         - CPU : 2GHz Dual CPU         - Memory : 1GB         - HDD : 120GB         - OS : Linux         - DBMS : MySQL         - Web Server : Apaches         - Program : C, C++, HTML, HDML, JAVA, etc. Performance of PIMA Server Generally speaking, the above PIMA server can support more than 100,000 network devices such as network cameras, network A/V servers, network DVRs, home servers, etc. But, the performance of the PIMA server depends on the performance of the hardware platform of the PIMA server. Operators of PIMA Server The PIMA server will be operated by following companies to expand their own business.         - Camera manufacturer         - Monitor manufacturer         - DVR manufacturer         - Home network company         - Security service company         - Internet service provider (ISP)         - Mobile phone service Operator |
The management server manages the users and network devices. That is to support registration, update, removal of users, network cameras, network A/V servers, network DVRs, NVRs, access control systems, home servers, etc. IP Server The IP server manages the IP addresses and related information of network cameras, network A/V servers, network DVRs, NVRs, access control systems, home servers, etc. for users with PC, PDA, mobile phones to easily access to them. To support global, private, static, dynamic IP addresses and DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Server) for easy access by the name. Alarm Server The alarm server sends a notice (e-mail, SMS message, etc.) to the registered user and to record event related information (video, time, etc.) when events occur. Mobile Server The mobile server supports the video/image viewing and camera/relay control from mobile devices (PDA, mobile phones, etc.) Relay Server The relay server broadcasts real time video/audio from network cameras, network A/V servers, network DVRs, NVRs, access control systems, home servers, etc. to users (PC, PDA, mobile phones, TVs, network A/V clients, network monitors, etc.). The relay server is used         1. to increase the concurrent users of a network device or         2. to reduce the internet bandwidth required to stream a video/audio data from one server to multiple clients (for example, PCs, network A/V clients, network video recorders, licence plate recognition systems) in the same LAN. Contents Server The contents server (photo & movie server) displays photos and/or movies on the remote network photo & movie album. |
